This story relates to our lives as we strive to do our best, not just in sports, school but also relationships between friends...。萨顿·罗伯茨本是位美丽又能干的律政俏佳人，与从商的丈夫过着甜蜜又幸福的生活。然而，祸从天降，母亲被杀，患有失忆症的妹妹却手握凶器出现在案发现场。萨顿·罗伯茨本一边力证妹妹的清白，一边安排心理医生为妹妹进行治疗恢复记忆，在此过程中妹妹经常情绪失控、暴躁、不稳定，这更加使得警方认为母亲就是妹妹所杀。萨顿·罗伯茨本遭遇重重困难，甚至数入险境，在一次看电影的途中，萨顿·罗伯茨本和丈夫驾驶的妹妹的汽车刹车失灵，经过后期警察检测，刹车失灵为人为所致，直至丈夫中毒生命垂危，所有的证据都指向阿普里尔。。
