日前，英版兼美版《同志亦凡人》创始人戴维斯回归其最擅长题材，开发了一个以食物命名的同志系列剧——《豆腐》（Tofu）、《香蕉》（Banana）和《黄瓜》（Cucumber），光是片名已让人跃跃欲试，浮想联翩。 三部剧均于2014年春在英国曼彻斯特开拍。《香蕉》和《黄瓜》是常规英剧，背景和英版《同志亦凡人》相似，均聚焦“gay都”曼彻斯特，讲述不同世代的英国同志生活。相对于《黄瓜》，《香蕉》更侧重年轻一代，没节操没节操啊，父母发现接受不了，自己就处在矛盾中，有时候就用谎言掩盖。迷茫 、年轻、没有确定性。。影片讲述了一名小丑表演者和自己的哥哥一起创建了一个网站，他们打扮成曾经声名狼藉的小丑Wasco，并将照片发布在网站上。然而他们不知道的是，这一举动竟然唤醒了早已死去的小丑Wasco，重返人间的Wasco大开杀戒，不断有凶杀案发生，社区内人心惶惶，为了自救，大家联合起来，合力希望打败恶魔小丑Wasco。。Weapons of Death is not the most original Polizi flick you're ever likely to see, but that's not too much of a problem since the genre tends to borrow from itself often anyway.
