Barnabáš Kos, a triangle player at a symphonic orchestra, is suddenly promoted to serve as the head of the said institution, even though both he and his superiors deem him completely unfit for the task. Encouraged in equal parts by this unexpected recognition and the servile praise of his colleagues, Kos’s modesty starts to gradually vanish. The erstwhile bashful and aloof percussionist quickly becomes aware of the advantages of his new office, and begins to realise his increasingly ludicrous artistic ambitions. Ultimately, the submissive marionette turns into a source of public humiliation, and his astonishing career finds an abrupt end. Orchestra serves here as a microcosm that grotesquely reflects the absurd and tragicomic mechanisms of the paranoid apparatus of power. Eva Näripe。干个体的“倒爷”石岜搓、蹭、侃、倒、玩样样精通，并不可思议的被单纯漂亮的舞蹈演员于晶看上。石岜遇到中学恋人刘华玲，两人深情回忆起了过去的美好时光。已入外籍的刘华玲还帮做生意亏了本的石岜解了难。后来，石岜遭到流氓敲诈，因拿不出钱来，被流氓重伤了腿部。从此，石岜不得不拄起拐杖，买卖生意越发清淡。专靠扛洋枪发财的女倒爷苏迪找到石岜，要他去敲诈与中国女人鬼混的老外，石岜不肯，苏迪将他臭骂了一顿。于晶为爱情与石岜结婚，并为谋生到酒吧为歌星伴舞。但她越来越无法忍受石岜整天半死不活毫无精神的生活状态，两人开始经常性的争吵。始终没有勇气像正常人一样生活的石岜，一天夜里，终于走向绝望，跳楼自杀。于晶在六个月后生下一个男孩，取名叫石小岜。。
